(9:51:11 AM) Wednesday, November 15, 2000 echoing the chorus that has for years blasted all unix flavors, there is a rising tide saying that poor usability is hurting linux. amen. if a product is not easy to figure out and use, it's going to be frustrating for most people. and people don't like to be frustrated. it's pretty simple, really (the equation, not the process of making something easy to use). make software useful, and easy to try and learn, and it will likely be successful. fail in either one of those, and product robustness and marketing and sales efforts become irrelevant.
