i don't know which is worse...my friend greger spending his time looking up his stupid name on the internet, or the fact that he actually found something mentioning "gregerville", texas. actually, i guess the worst part about the whole thing is that the info about gregerville comes from "The Handbook of Texas - Online". who takes the time to put these things online, anyways? aren't there tons of rare and wonderful books that ought to be online way ahead of the handbook of texas???

in response to my little naive friend greger, who's sad blog can be found here, i wanted to make it known that, although i don't often win these ncaa basketball pools, the fact that he did last year is proof-positive that any fucking ignoramous can win these things. BRING IT! gerns, you really shouldn't be allowed to talk any trash considering that you have had your ass kicked in virtually every single other fantasy sports event that i have participated in. not only that but, although she may not have been cross-eyed, i bet you have no idea what color those babies were....

i love sports. ncaa's are almost upon us, the basketball playoffs are just around the corner, and the new baseball season is about to begin! you just have to love that. fantasy sports leagues and betting pools are abounding...this is one of the few times that "winning isn't everything" truly is the case. yes, winning these things is great, but the bottom line is that you can always talk trash to your friends, regardless of whether you actually beat them or not. just remind them of the time they were really drunk and hooked up with that cross-eyed girl...

it's monday, and i'm not too happy about that. however, i will say that this past weekend was FINALLY beautiful. clear blue skies both saturday and sunday, for the first time in months. got to play soccer both days, including my first game in my new sunday league. let's just say that this league SUX. bad field, bad players. oh well, at least it is outdoors...i'm very sore now...

ok, so i got guilted into writing another entry here by my good friend and sponsor, mike manning (also known as "webmonkey"). i have no links to provide. i have very little to say. except this: anyone who wants to try to fucking convince me that it "doesn't rain that much" in the San Francisco bay area can kiss my ass. it has rained so much the past month that now have to take a canoe to go to work. my neighbors are all building an ark. worst of all, I HAVEN'T PLAYED A GAME OF SOCCER IN 5 WEEKS!! (hey, that's a link, huh? cool).

huh, so this is my very own little window into the world, eh? actually, i guess that is a little backwards - it is probably more like a little window into my world, for the benefit (ha ha) of others. whatever.
since this is my first post, all i'm going to say is that this will be an interesting little endeavor. i'm not sure why anyone would really care to read what i have to say, and i'm not sure if i care to publish my thoughts, but oh well, here i am and i guess we'll just see what happens.
first thought: WAY too much work to do today to spend any more time on this.
this is going to be fun, i can see that already. pullitzer, here i come...
